F6E3
Same communication failure as F6E2 — the UI and main control board are out of sync. The two codes are used together.
F6E2What you will see
- Display blank or frozen
- No button response
- F6E3 shown alongside F6E2
Most likely causes, in order
Listed from the most common and cheapest to check, to the least common and most expensive. Work down the list — do not jump to the last item because it is the one that sounds serious.
- Power interruption during a cycle
- Loose UI-to-ACU harness
- Control board not finishing its startup handshake
Safe checks you can do
- Cut power at the breaker for 5 minutes.
- Restore power and watch the display during the first 30 seconds.
- If the panel comes up clean, run a Rinse & Spin to verify.
When to call a technician
The code survives the 5-minute power-down, or the display never comes back.
Also call if you see or smell burning, if the breaker trips when the washer starts, or if water has reached any electrical part. Those are stop-now conditions, not check-it-later conditions.
Models that show F6E3
We confirmed F6E3 in the published troubleshooting table for these models:
- WTW8000D
- MVWB965H
The code is defined for the shared washer platform, so a sibling model can display it even when its own manual does not list it.
